About the Owners

Scott Huskey, Co-Owner

Scott Huskey is the co-owner of Defender Concrete Solutions. Scott is responsible for ensuring all customers have an excellent experience while getting their concrete repaired or sealed. He oversees the whole process, starting with the estimate through job completion. From recruiting to hands-on training with employees, Scott is actively involved in building our top-notch customer service and production teams.

Scott holds a BA in social and behavioral science. He is a professional people person with over 24 years of customer service, sales, and business experience. He has worked for large corporations and launched a successful startup company in the Oil and Gas industry, in which he remained involved for ten years.

His entrepreneurial experience and passion for customer service inspired him to co-found Defender Concrete Solutions with his wife, Kodi. "We feel that prompt, reliable customer service is a lost art," says Scott. Combined, we will fulfill a need for homeowners across the Western Slope by providing concrete repair services and sealant options to protect homeowners' investments and commercial properties.

Kodi Huskey, Co-Owner

Kodi Huskey is the co-owner of Defender Concrete Solutions and is responsible for all accounting and administrative operations. Kodi ensures that each potential client will be cared for professionally and proficiently.

Kodi spent over ten years in customer service and office management. Throughout her roles, she has gained a valuable understanding of customer service, human resources, accounting, and expense reduction analysis. Kodi has experience in various industries, including telecommunications, mortgage, and even the oil and gas industry.

This blended background in different areas of business made for a natural transition into the ownership team of Defender Concrete Solutions. She is crucial to building an efficient, resourceful, knowledgeable team while being mindful of cost savings to pass along to our customers.
