Defender Concrete Solutions Before & After Photos

Defender Concrete Solutions recently completed this job in Rifle, CO.  The customer was tired of dealing with the eye sore and potential liability of the trip hazards leading up to their front door.  PolyLevel was used to quickly lift and stabilize the sinking slabs, the joints were then sealed with a flexible, UV resistant joint compound.  All this at a fraction of the cost and hassle of replacing and a 5 year warranty.

Pictures do not really do the job justice that Defender Concrete Solutions recently completed in Silt, CO.  This porch and walkway had sank in the middle causing pooling and the risk of further damage.  Defender lifted the front step and then the walkway using PolyLevel.  This will eliminate the pooling and stabilize the front entry while greatly enhancing the appeal of the house.  The walkway was also supported and trip hazards eliminated with zero disruption to the family.

The customer called Defender Concrete to see if he could save the driveway without replacing.  As you can see, it was severely sank with cracks.  We were able to repair at a fraction of the cost of replacement. 

You can see Compression Guard that was added in the picture. Compression Guard is engineered thermo plastic that allows the slabs of your concrete to expand and contract without damaging the concrete. The slab pictured here pushed toward the garage and then retracted and settled. Defender lifted the slabs back into place, sealed the exposed joint and then added the compression guard to protect the slab in the future.

This customer had a huge void under her concrete that you could actually feel while jumping on it.  The concrete had begun to sink, which created a crack down the middle.  Defender Concrete Solutions used PolyLevel foam to lift the lower portion and stabilize the whole slab to prevent future settling.  We then sealed all the joints with NexusPro, a UV resistant joint sealer that will not crack and remains flexible.  This will prevent moisture from getting under the surface again.  The customer was please with the new look and peace of mind that she will not have to worry about it getting worse and having to replace.
